In this series we asked our artist to answer 6 questions that are LA PERA.
Here are Carolina Casusol's answers and her interpretation of La Pera, graphite on paper.

Last museum/gallery you visited:
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit De la Cruz Collection in Miami. The museum has a fantastic exhibit space for some iconic pieces of Ana Mendieta and some interesting pieces of Seth Price. Definitely a place to visit if you are in the city.
A reading on art you recommend:
If you feel like rethinking the nature of art, The Invisible Dragon by Dave Hickey.
Place you wish to see your work exhibited one day:
Well, I still feel like an emerging artist and right now I am more focused on doing research and developing projects but I really like the idea of being part of a Latin American art collection and exhibit at places like El museo del Barrio in NYC or the MOLAA in California.
Exhibition you enjoyed and why:
“In pieces” at The flower box project. I really enjoy art that uses repetition or that is inspired by fractales or that uses deconstruction to reconstruct. I think I am, deep down, an abstract artist.

An artwork you love:
