Humberto Ramírez (b. 1982 Guadalajara, México) lives and works in Guadalajara.

Ramírez’s most recent quest in drawing has been built from the creation of saturated images of objects, ideas junctures and multiple meanings and, it is from this, that sculpture, painting and installations in his practice sprout from. Each drawing is an independent story and part of a greater one at the same time.

 

Each independent story or set of them is set to describe or reflect upon themes suggested in different realities: the relationship with other species and the natural setting.
