Our end of the year group show with Alberto Labad, Alice Quaresma, Ben Walker, Daniel Mantilla, Hernán Rivera Luque, Karen Ösp Pálsdóttir, Nicolas Vander Biest, Tiffany Wang, and Whitney Lorenze

As this year comes to a close, we gathered a few of your favorite artists for a Holiday Party, Fiesta de Colores at Daniel Mantilla’s new house. Nicolas Vander Biest was in charge of the invitation. Hernán Rivera Luque gave the speech. Karen Pálsdóttir brought a friend that was feeling blue, and our dear Labad offered guidance. Whitney Lorenze played the same song over and over. Alice Quaresma and Ben Walker showed up longing for the shore and left us all wishing for a seaside holiday season, while Tiffany Wang reminded us that every new year is like a door waiting to be opened. 

 

In this drop, the last of the year, we celebrate the unique artistic practice of each of these creators in special collaboration with La Pera Projects. The featured artists, each in their own particular way — through painting, collage, and photography, offer a glimpse of the wide range of interests and forms that contemporary art can take and which we are committed to making accessible to you, our Collectors’ Circle.
