About the Event

For the average young art lover, the world of contemporary art collecting may seem inaccessible, unaffordable, or hermetic. However, the digital revolution of our generation has allowed for new business models to change this narrative. One of the most exciting, fresh and user-friendly platforms to emerge from this context is La Pera Projects! On Friday, IEABC will have the pleasure of virtually co-hosting a unique conversation with Clara Andrade Pereira (co-founder of La Pera Projects and Director of Pablo's Birthday Gallery in NYC) and Blanca Pascual Baztan (co-founder of La Pera Projects), both with almost a decade of experience in the art market.

Join us for an exciting conversation with La Pera Projects about innovation in the art world and the new era of contemporary art collecting. In addition to an in-depth introduction to their incredible initiative, we will also be discussing the contemporary art experience of the current market, following its evolution into the digitalized age, and navigating the challenges that this brings to the art world, for collectors and artists alike.

The online session will take place over Zoom and consist of a presentation by Clara and Blanca, followed by a Q&A session moderated by Covadonga Romero (IEABC President) and Prerna Mishra (IEABC Vice President). Don't miss out on this opportunity to interact with amazing art world professionals - let's debunk some art world myths together!
